For those requesting new e-passports, the Directorate General of Passport and Immigration, Mustafa Jamal, has put in place an online appointment system.

Through the use of a single button click, this cutting-edge system makes scheduling appointments easy for applicants. Once appointments are made, candidates will be notified by SMS services, expediting the procedure and minimizing the need for in-person meetings.

The fee structure for different passport categories is as follows:
36-page with 5-year validity:
- Normal delivery: Rs. 9,000
- Urgent delivery: Rs. 12,000
72-page with 5-year validity:
- Normal delivery: Rs. 16,500
- Urgent delivery: Rs. 27,000
36-page with 10-year validity:
- Normal delivery: Rs. 13,500
- Urgent delivery: Rs. 22,500
72-page with 10-year validity:
- Normal delivery: Rs. 24,750
- Urgent delivery: Rs. 40,500
Machine-readable passport (36 pages) with 5 years of validity:
- Normal delivery: Rs. 3,000
- Urgent delivery: Rs. 5,000
