In honor of the 1932 royal decision that converted the Kingdom of Najd and the Hejaz into the current Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia decreed Saturday, September 23, a national holiday.
Private and non-profit groups will both celebrate the 93rd National Day as a public holiday, according to a minister of HR and social development officially recognized.
Article 24 states the guidelines that employers must follow with regard to public holidays. The government has called on businesses everywhere to follow the rules for the purpose of ensuring an uneventful celebration of the national anniversary.

Every student from colleges and universities are also getting a day extra off on Sunday, September 24, so that they can take part in the celebration of the Kingdom’s National Day.
The year’s National Day will be held over a long weekend because it comes on a Saturday, so it will be particularly beneficial for individuals who work six days a week.
So everyone will have the day off work to participate in the festivities, it will be a day of universal celebration.
