The Islamabad Campus of Sarhad University of Science & Information Technology, Peshawar, has officially opened. The university’s efforts to offer students in the nation’s capital and its surrounding areas a top-notch education and easily accessible learning opportunities have reached a key turning point with the inauguration.
Sarhad University was established in 2001 and is accredited by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC). It has continually upheld its commitment to academic achievement. Its accomplishments cut across a variety of fields, including management, engineering, pharmacy, and computer science. The college has graduated over 40,000 graduates over 14 Convocations, many of whom have had a significant impact on the world.
Several academic departments, including those for pharmacy, physiotherapy, education, nursing, management science, and computing, will be located on the new campus. This campus is a lighthouse for the entire region and not just for Islamabad. I think Sarhad University will soon join the elite ranks of Pakistan’s universities as we begin this new chapter.
