Currently, delegation members of the Cable Operators Association of Pakistan (CAP) paid a visit to the PTA’s headquarters. To address problems of common interest, the group engaged with Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman, Chairman PTA.
Discussions on legal concerns and challenges about the delivery of internet access by cable networks in Pakistan were the main focus of the conversation.

The group received a warm welcome and their complaints were heard by Chairman PTA. He highlighted that PTA is fully examining the present Class Value Added Services (CVAS) license policy via a stakeholder engagement handle to tackle problems associated with the delivery of internet services, implementing a note of the continually changing conditions in the digital economy and developments in technology.
