Due to unpaid debts, Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has once more stopped providing fuel to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
Due to the airport in Lahore’s restriction of fuel supplies, numerous PIA planes experienced delays. The PK 305 from Lahore to Karachi and the PK 747 from Lahore to Madina were both hours late.
The PIA representative claims that negotiations to find a solution have already begun with the PSO administration, therefore the delayed flights will soon take off.
Unfortunately, PIA continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. Due to unpaid payments in Canada, a national flag carrier jet was recently grounded.
However, the situation was addressed after Swissport, a ground handling and fuel company, received its $200,000 debt.
The problem was cleared by a PIA representative, who said that the payment was delayed because to the time difference between the two nations.
