Ten scholarships have been awarded to academics from eight Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states to support virology and vaccine research and development. The ceremony, which took place at the Ministry of Health in Jakarta, Indonesia, marked an important step forward in OIC nations’ scientific cooperation.
The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Bio-Farma, Universities Padjadjaran (UNPAD), and Universities Airlangga (UNAIR), in collaboration with the Indonesian Embassy in Pakistan, awarded these prestigious fellowships as a part of the Comstock Fellowships Program for Research and Advanced Training in Virology and Vaccine Technologies.
