Submissions for the 5th Cohort of the upcoming Incubating Cycle according to the National Expansion Plan (NEP) of the National Incubation Centers (NICs) are currently being accepted by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication.
Proposals have been requested for incubation facilities for the National Expansion Plan of NICs at Gujrat, Jamshoro, Karachi, Kohat, Lahore, Muzaffarabad, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sukkur, Swat, and Taxila.

The Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication (MoITT) and the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) have announced the National Expansion Plan of NICs to expand the ecosystem for startups in the nation.
Details show that the 5th Cohort’s six-month incubation cycle will adhere to a Zero Equity Model, which means it’s totally free for companies that are selected.
A total of 130 businesses are being searched for across Pakistan to be part of the National Expansion Plan via NIC. These startups will get free workspace, legal guidance, and mentorship. During the course of the six-month scheme, business owners will get over thirty workshops and courses.

For the states of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan, and AJK, NEP is now taking applications. For the areas of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Taxila, and Gujrat in Punjab, applications are being taken. NEP has put out a request call for both the Balochistan regions including Quetta and Lasbela and for the Sindh regions including Karachi, Jamshoro, and Sukkur. Further, it has requested applications to serve the Muzaffarabad region in AJK, and both Kohat and Swat regions in KP.
