For the budget year 2023–2024 (FY24), the federal government declared Rs. 6.75 million to be the cost of thirty thousand six hundred and thirty (30,630) grams of silver.
In accordance with a notification coming from the Finance Division, the Federal Government feels pleased to declare Rs. 6,757,902 (Rupees six million seven hundred fifty-seven thousand nine hundred and two only) as the value of thirty thousand six hundred and thirty (30,630) grams of silver for the financial year 2023–2024 for the use of subsection (1) of Section 323 of the Pakistan Penal Code (Act XLV of 1860).

Diyat is a financial payment provided to a victim or the person’s heirs. If anyone dies or somebody suffers an injury or something gets damaged, compensation may be provided.
The federal government approved the rate of Diyat (blood money) for the prior to a fiscal year, or FY23, at Rs. 4.318 million.
