Due to new information from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, additional smartphone makers are starting to get on the phone the repairability bandwagon, and Oppo may be next in line.
The Chinese insider claims that Oppo is getting ready for a new program that would offer free battery swapping lasting a maximum of four years following the purchase of your phone. The program will debut with the next Oppo A2 Pro 5G, which is predicted to be on sale over the weekend in China.
Another source of information, using the handle WHYLAB, has spoken about Oppo’s next project. He says that, compared to the normal 1–2 years insurance we receive from phone suppliers, if the battery life of your phone drops beyond eighty percent, you will be considered qualified for a free replacement of the battery within the service provided after the sale.
It’s uncertain whether Pakistan will receive this program.
The Oppo A2 Pro 5G has not been properly confirmed by the company that makes it, but sources have already provided a lot more details about it.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC will power it, and the gadget will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with rounded edges. Featuring a fingerprint sensor built into the display, the display will be 1080p and 120Hz
Featuring a 64MP sensor and a 2MP depth lens, the primary camera will have. A punch-hole cutout should be used to conceal the 8MP selfie camera. The battery will have 5,000 mAh storage with support for 67W fast electrical charging.Software-wise, it will run Oppo’s Color OS 13 on top of Android 13.
There will be three different versions of the phone available:
- 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM cost $288.
- A 256 GB hard drive with 12 GB of RAM costs $315.
- 512 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM cost $343.
