In accordance with the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) directives, the federal government has terminated the terms of two board members of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Waseem Hayat Bajwa, who held the post of Member Planning, and Mazhar Hussain Shah, who held the position of Member Finance, are the two board members who have been terminated.
The ECP has issued orders, requesting the dismissal of the board members, to the Chairman CDA and the Home Secretary. Additionally, Member State and Member Engineering have both lost their jobs.
However, Member Administration Services will be brought back today, according to CDA authorities. ECP didn’t ask for the transfer of Member Technology, nevertheless.
A thorough list with information on the 80 officials and staff members who are currently on deputation with the CDA has also been compiled. According to the roster, the authority on deputation employs more than six grade 19 personnel.
A number of officers from the Islamabad police have joined the CDA’s deputation workforce in addition to the officials of various grades who are currently employed there.
