In Jaffarabad, a woman became the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), which is an important moment in Balochistan’s history. The position of governor was taken over on September 1 to Faryal Fareed, a native from Haripur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
She arrived and was welcomed with flowers and salutes by the police staff working in the Jaffarabad district police station. As SSP, she visited with her staff as soon as possible.

It has never been easy to maintain the National Highway in the Jaffarabad district, which is situated near to the border, safely. SSP Faryal’s achievements of being presented with the “Sword of Honor” as the first female police officer in Pakistan’s Police Service are impressive.
She achieved this honor in 2018 while working as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) for her outstanding performance throughout her training at the National Police Academy.
This is interesting to point out that Dr. Sami Malik, Faryal’s partner, is a police officer who became Naseerabad SSP at exactly the same time as Faryal was elected Jaffarabad SSP.
