The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has chosen to give away more than 400,000 tickets for the ODI World Cup 2023 because of the huge demand for seats in the first seven stages of selling.
Those additional tickets will go on sale starting at 08:00 pm on 8 September 2023, based to a notice published by the BCCI in a news release on Wednesday.

The extraordinary need for passes whenever sales opened on August 25, 2023, was the driving force for this decision. The event’s primary booking partnership, BookMyShow, had problems fulfilling fan demands, resulting in considerable criticism on social media. The BCCI and the event’s organizer were both crashed by fans in addition to their ticketing partners.

The BCCI chose to offer another 400,000 tickets for the match in reaction while meeting with the local organizations sponsoring the sporting events.
