Arshad Nadeem, a thrower of javelins who achieved silver at the World Athletics Championship, will get a cash prize of three million rupees, said Chief Minister Wahab Riaz‘s sports advisor. The Punjab’s interim chief minister, Mohsin Naqvi, directed the production of a short video for the reason of delivering this public statement.
In August 2023, Arshad Nadeem built history by being the first athlete from Pakistan to successfully bring home the award from the important World Athletics Championship. Wahab Riaz highlighted that Arshad Nadeem’s success is important not only for him as well as for Pakistan’s history in sports. He promised to assist with further achievements of this type.
